We’re working on getting Brett and are currently in contract negotiations. Any encouraging words, PB Max or Utah Jazz swingman will probably help get Brett out of retirement.

It’s the day you all have been waiting for.  It’s the day when that one kid from that one high school signed on to play football at your school.  There were parties all across the US and it was a sold out room at the University of Utah.  Who on earth would want to go sit in a room and hear a list of kids names that you know nothing about.  It’s the most over rated day in sports.  Everyone gets jacked up for that five star recruit that is coming to their school that probably won’t see the field for two years.

Who decides how many stars a kid gets anyways.  Maybe it’s Rivals.com or Scout.com.  Those are the same sites that have ranked Notre Dame’s recruiting class in the top ten for three out of the last four years.  Those “5 Stars” haven’t quite panned out yet.  How many big time recruits played for the Utah Utes that just finished 13-0 and dominated an Alabama team full of five star kids.  Zero, and according to Barry Switzer, not one player on Utah would be recruited by Alabama.  I couldn’t care less about this years recruits.  Tell me about the guys that are actually going to see the field this year.
